This is a diagram or cross-section of a home or building showing the locations of the Energy Centers. A cross-section views a home or building as if you are looking down on the building with the roof off.

Adjust this diagram to fit your home or work place. Using this diagram, locate the wall that has the front door. Align this wall with the wall of your front door.

(Please do not use a side or back entrance for this alignment, even if those doors are used more often.)

1) If the structure has a projections that is LESS than half the building than it woud be considered an enchancement.

2) If the structure has a projection MORE than half the building than it would be considered a missing area. (In borderline situations consider the structure's history)

3) If the structure is very complicated with many angles, apply the diagram to each room.
